All components are delivered directly via the manufacturers site or repositories.

Software is not modified, forked, packaged, or otherwise altered.

PostGIS

PostGIS® PostGIS is a spatial database extender for PostgreSQL object-relational database. It adds support for geographic objects allowing location queries to be run in SQL.

PostGIS is released under the GNU General Public License (GPLv2 or later). Refer to License FAQ for more information. PostGIS is developed by a group of contributors led by a Project Steering Committee. PostGeoServer is distributed under the GNU General Public License Version 2.


PostgreSQL

PostgreSQL is a powerful, open source object-relational database system. It has more than 15 years of active development and a proven architecture that has earned it a strong reputation for reliability, data integrity, and correctness.

PostgreSQL is released under the PostgreSQL License, a liberal Open Source license, similar to the BSD or MIT licenses.


PgRouting

pgRouting extends the PostGIS / PostgreSQL geospatial database to provide geospatial routing functionality.

pgRouting is available under the GPLv2 License and is supported by a growing community of individuals, businesses and organizations.
