About
==================

Maps can be created from any PostGIS or GeoServer data source.


Data Sources
==================

Click Maps on the left menu.

Click Connections in the dashboard or Wizard.

Click the PostGIS or GeoServer tab

Click the Add New button

Connection
==================

Give your Connection and Name and Description.

Enter the host information and then click the reload button to get database list

Select the Database, Table, and Geom

Select the Metric (Used only for Choropleth) and Permissions

Click the Create button.

Style
==================

Click Style link in the dashboard or Wizard.

Give the Style a Name and Description and set style parameters

If you have Conditions, enter them in the Conditions section.

Click the Create button

Map
==================

Click Map link in the dashboard or Wizard.

Give the Map a Name and Description.

Select the Map Type (Point, Polygon, or Choropleth)

Select Basemap, Lat, Lon, Zoom, Sidebar action type, and Permissions

Click the Create button

Your map should now appear on the enduser dashboard.

Test your map

.. note::
    If you do not wish to email the report, tick the "Don't send email" box.  
    This will run the report and save it to disk on the server.
    The report can be retrived via disk or downloaded via Reports tab.

The Optional Params tab allows you to:

1. Set email subject
2. Set email message
3. Add report parameters
