# Erase Analysis

Remove portions of features from an input dataset that overlap with an erase dataset.
|
|
|
|
## Overview
|
|
|
|
Erase analysis removes portions of input features that overlap with erase features, creating new geometries.
|
|
|
|
## Inputs
|
|
|
|
- **Input Dataset**: Dataset to erase from
|
|
- **Erase Dataset**: Dataset to erase with
|
|
|
|
## Outputs
|
|
|
|
New dataset containing:
|
|
|
|
- Features with erased portions removed
|
|
- Remaining geometry after erase
|
|
- Original attributes preserved
|
|
|
|
